Takis Bakery

We found this place from some food bloggers before we came to Athens and we were amazed by the selection of backed goods (sweet or savory) and the quality. Plus, they were all really reasonably priced. We loved it so much we went back every morning for breakfast. Our favorite thing is their mushroom and bell pepper pie and we also loved their blueberry muffins. Seriously, 5-10€ total feeds 2 people really well here.

i felt like i found a gem when i went inside the bakery because the locals were queued up inside to buy some snacks from here. you can find almost everything from croissants to bagels, and you can buy anything and will never regret. will come back to takis again!

Great local bakery serving locals and tourists. There is a line up in the mornings as this is such a popular bakery. I had the Nutella croissant and also the baguettes which I had for lunch. This will set you back about 5 euros. Both were delicious and affordable. If you are in the city it is a short walk and worth every step.

This is the most amazing place to try the best bread in town. The shop has fresh and great variety of pastries and seasonal breads and the owners are so friendly. We truly love this boulangery!

What a find! Just what we needed before heading out on a tour. So many fresh bakery choices are served up by a super friendly local. Everything we got had tasty, crunchy crusts with the right amount of sweetness or savoriness! Yum!

It’s a great little bakery with a real Greek feel. The chicken pie was one of the best we had!

WHAT A PHENOMENAL SPOT! Everything we had was so fresh and the service was very attentive. The price was also very good for everything we got. No space to eat, so it’s more a take-away type of situation with this bakery.
