Matern Yachting M.C.P.Y.

I confidently recommend Matern Yachting for their honesty, transparency, and outstanding customer-friendly attitude. I truly appreciate the company’s German-level reliability, represented by the sailing master Peter, with whom I completed a sailing course in April 2025. The catamaran is equipped with multiple accessories that were very useful during our trip: fishing gear, 2 paddle boards, flippers and swimming goggles, a coffee machine, fans, a smart generator, and an 8-person dinghy with a very powerful engine. Peter was very responsive and answered immediately whenever we contacted him with questions or for recommendations of lagoons to moor. We rented the catamaran IRIS during the period August 23–30, 2025.

This was one of the most unbelievable and amazing adventures I have been on in my life. The views are so incredible, it all looks like something from a movie. The waters are crystal clear everywhere. So clear you could see the bottom of the sea. I would highly recommend the northern Sporades, especially with this catamaran. The catamaran is so luxurious and cozy it makes you feel like you’re home. Everyone from the crew is so friendly and always very helpful with all activities and explanations of the places we visited. You cannot help but feel them like family. We went diving and saw so much beneath the sea - sunken ships, all kinds of wildlife like coral reefs, octopuses, etc. The food is some of the best I have tried in my whole life. It was truly an amazing experience. A very cool catamaran, there is room for everything - drinking, eating, sunbathing and jumping. Our captain was TOP, we saw amazing places and swam in turquoise waters. Thank you Peter and Sylvia

A most unforgettable experience: a combination of sunshine, yoga (both on and off board), very tasty seafood, and great company. My husband and I sailed for the first time :-), so there was a little anxiety before getting on board. The trip proved this anxiety baseless. Silvia and Captain Peter changed our attitude towards yachting, and we will definitely sail again.

I have sailed on a sailing catamaran once or twice before, but always for 1 day; to go diving or just for fun. Never before have I been on a sailboat or catamaran for several days let alone living on it for a week with other (unknown) people. It was my friend who convinced me to go on an adventure with him... and so we did. On Saturday 24/05 we boarded this beautiful and luxurious catamaran in the port of Volos -Greece. Peter (the captain) welcomed us warmly along with his wife Silvia. We got to know our fellow travellers over a welcome drink and our adventure started. Whether you would like to participate sailing activaly or rather enjoy a drink on deck in the sun with the beautiful view; Peter and Silvia are happy to take you on a trip along the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. All comfort and everything is present on board and otherwise it will be taken care of. You can go for a swim and sleep in the most beautiful bays and the nicest harbors where you can go shopping and enjoy local delicacies. We had much fun, saw so beautiful places and got to know such nice people. Peter and Silvia ensure with all their experience and knowledge that every trip is an unforgettable experience. We spent an amazing week on Iris, during a skipper’s course! I learned a ton, Peter- our captain and instructor was great -experienced, skillful, patient and resourceful. On top of that he was a big deal of fun to be around and I highly recommend this course and Matern Yachting in general to everyone!

Great boat and Peter is very experienced captain. His wife Silvia organized everything really smooth, gave us exact directions and helpful tips. Absolutely recommend it!
