Messinia Sailing - My GReen LIFE | private cruises Kalamata

Our family has had the pleasure of doing some Kalamata sailing with Captain Pete and his lovely wife Ina on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions we took a private cruise with family and friends. The on board BBQ was expertly prepared by Ina and rivaled some of the best meals we had while in Greece. A very relaxing and highly recommended experience!

Peter and Ina at Messinia Sailing are incredible! My two friends and I did a 4 hour cruise on a Friday morning in April, and it was beautiful. They took us to a stunning swim spot, as well as a cave that we could swim through. They told us all about the history of Kalamata throughout the tour as well, and passed along some local site-seeing and restaurant recommendations. They were incredible hosts, taking photos and videos of us and making sure we were having a great time. The tour was super easy to coordinate with them as well, as they accommodated us less than 24 hours in advance and at the very start of the season. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kalamata!

We had an amazing 4 hour cruise with Peter and Ina and would highly recommend sailing with them on your visit to Kalamata. Peter was able to share lots of interesting history with us, we stopped multiple places to swim, snorkel, and relax, and Ina was an amazing host who prepared fresh coffee, a beautiful snack of olives, cheese, meats, fruit, and wine. It was easy to coordinate with them (we scheduled less than 24 hours in advance) and they made it a seamless experience. Absolutely recommend.

We had unforgettable half day trip, multiple stops at beautiful places, with good food and nice people. Peter is amazing captain and very good guide who knows Greek history and can share a lot of stories. Special thanks to Peter's son Vladimir and his wife Ina who worked as one team to make our experience unforgettable! At the end of trip we got a gift from Peter and his family bottle of local wine and pack of authentic Greek coffee just because, as Peter said, we are good people and because we had good conversation about Greece and it's history. There are a lot of yachts for rent in Kalamata but only one has Peter as a captain!

Great experience! The boat trip was fantastic, we enjoyed it very much. The crew was very nice and they filled the guests with informations and great homemade snacks and fruit!

Peter and Inna acomodated my family for a nice day out to sea. Peter awnsered all our questions about local history, cuisine, sailing and more. They generously met all our requests, including a lovely spread of local meat, cheese, village sallads and their own wine. They gave us many tips on what to do and where to eat for the remainder of our stay.
