Istion Yachting Corfu

Great experience with Istion (Corfu), amazing support from the local team during the trip (Katerina did an amazing job!). Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Would definitely go again with Istion.

The staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful, which created a pleasant atmosphere throughout the trip. The boat was overall functional and provided enough comfort for an enjoyable time at sea. The sailing itself went smoothly without any bigger technical issues, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.

We had an amazing week on Cassiopeia 2, a 45ft catamaran. The boat was clean and well equipped. Plenty of space for six of us to lounge, soak up the sun and plenty of shade. Stelios our skipper was delightful, very welcoming, professional and introduced us to the delights of Greek cuisine. Some of his suggestions I probably wouldn’t have tried but so glad I did! He also makes a mean cocktail and has gorgeous hair! Our week was spent swimming, snorkelling and soaking up the sun, eating gorgeous food and drinking beer, wine, ouzo and Stelios’s cocktails. We also had stunning views, visited hidden coves and amazing caves only accessible by boat. It truly was the perfect week. I would recommend Istion Yachting to anyone looking for an idyllic week’s sailing, especially if you have Stelios as your skipper.

We had the most amazing adventure sailing the Ionian Sea with a large group on two well maintained catamarans. Our fun, highly skilled and knowledgeable skippers, Dimitris Savvatis and George Bakoulas often rafted (tied) the boats together so our group could have lunch, swim and relax together in the most beautiful places. Our skippers knew the islands! Where to go, what to see and history too. I highly recommend Istion Yachting with Dimitris and George for an unforgettable vacation!

We had an unforgettable sailing holiday with Istion Sailing Holidays aboard a 42ft Lagoon catamaran in the stunning Ionian Sea, Greece. With six guests, we explored breathtaking scenery, dined in gorgeous seaside restaurants, and swam in endless blue waters. The highlight was our incredible Captain George—skilled, calm, and always attentive. He made us feel completely at home and took us to hidden gems we never could’ve imagined. We also sailed alongside a second catamaran captained by the charming and professional Captain Demetrius. The experience exceeded all expectations. Our only suggestion: better quality, non-breakable glassware. A solid 10/10 from very happy Australians!

I’ve been bareboating in Mexico, Croatia, Italy & Greece since 2016 after selling my sailboat. No bareboat vessel has ever been in tip top condition. Some have been flat out unsafe, IMO. I understand the local charter companies are often if not always under staffed to properly turn vessels around in 24 hours or less. I also realize it is not always the local charter company who might be held accountable for poorly maintained vessels, it’s often the boat’s owner limiting repairs. Shared all that to say, the only thing that makes a bareboat experience better or great or horrible, is the local charter company’s staff! The staff at istion in Gouvia Corfu Greece are hands down the best I have ever worked with. We had problems and issues with our Lagoon 450 Cat. They stood up to correct what they could in a timely manner. The istion staff was always pleasant and helpful! I very much appreciate their positive, pleasant attitudes and smiling faces while all of us are in The Fray! Thanks to all the staff at the Gouvia base of istion. You guys and gals ROCK! I’ll be back to bareboat charter with istion in 2026 and beyond. I’ll be praying the staff stays the same! Benjie Kent

Great time with Captain Bogdan and Chef George. We sailed Corfu and Paxos and had a great time every day. Amazing team. Great food and amazing places every day.
