I rarely write reviews but Wanderlust Yachting deserves a great review. We had an amazing two weeks in the Cyclades and my experience with Wanderlust was excellent. Before you continue reading, I like to point out that I am not paid to write this review and hope you will have a similar experience. Honestly, I wish all charter companies and charter boats were like the one from Wanderlust. To Lisa and all Wanderlust staff, please keep up the good work! The Sun Odyssey’s 440 were fun charter yachts and perfect for our 5 to 6 people crew. Even though the yachts were from 2018/2019, they were in good condition for their age. Also worth mentioning, they are fast yachts for a production boat – 6 to 7 kts in light wind, we loved it 😊. The twin rudder makes it fun to steer upwind under sail (almost no rudder pressure), but you certainly want the bow thruster in the harbour. Furthermore, you can tell, that the Wanderlust takes pride in their yachts. Never had I such an extensively equipped charter boat. To name a few extras, we had a floating 50 m line, a perfect setup on the foredeck to secure the dingy in seconds, two life rings, two boat hooks, 10 large fenders, extensive safety equipment and a more than complete kitchen. Anchoring was also easy due to the anchor being painted yellow (easy to spot underwater), due to a special anchor security hook, a device that always brings up your anchor in the correct orientation, easy visible anchor chain markings, lots of anchor chain, and a device to free your anchor if it gets stuck. All nice-to-have features for the skipper, where Wanderlust has no extra profit – other than recurring customers. Finally, I like to mention that Wanderlust does everything to make your vacation as perfect as possible. For example, a SUP was given for free, they installed brand new jacklines for us, lost dingy paddles were replaced at no cost, a small gelcoat damage was dealt with professionally and fair, and all emails were answered fast – communication with Lisa was a joy.
