Vardis is an incredible sailor and a gracious host on his boat. We sailed with him for a week and couldn’t have picked a better skipper. He was flexible when we asked to switch our sailing plan due to bad weather, and was tireless in finding the best ports and beaches for us to visit. We can’t thank him enough!

We had a great 4-day trip on a naturist charter with Sun Sailing and Captain Vardis. Captain Vardis went above and beyond. He is an excellent skipper, kept us safe and entertained the whole trip. He always had a recommendation of where to eat at each port we visited, and each meal was amazing. Not only that, but he also prepared a lite Greek salad while we were on the water, which was a great treat after stopping to swim around the islands. We brought our own snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the journey. Most importantly - we had a scooter accident on a rented scooter on our last island that we visited - completely not the fault of Mr Vardis, but he was so helpful in sorting through the mess and getting us back to Athens to get medical attention. He even came with us to the hospital to make sure we got treated well. Which we did - great medical care in Greece. From the naturist perspective, the cruise is everything we wanted. Every day, 5 minutes after leave a port we stripped off and sailed to our next destination. Somewhere along the way we stopped in a great swimming spot and had the option of SUP, snorkeling, or just swimming. Captain Vardis is also a naturist and stripped off with us. Loved the sense of comradery, and it felt more like family on the boat rather than a service.

Vardis has endless years of experience and gave a lovely day trip with interesting information about where we are and where we were going. He was also the perfect host with a fridge full of beverages and snacks. Highly recommend.

We spent three days sailing from Athens to Aegina and Poros with our daughter 10 years old. Vardis was a fantastic skipper and a gentleman. We enjoyed the time together, the swimming, the sailing experience, and the landscapes. Vardis introduces us to local taverns for dinner and we were delighted. A great experience. I organized the wedding of my brother on the boat and we are soooo thankful to Vartis and the boat team for such an amazing day we had. Everything was top class - safety measures, amazing sea food menu, attentive team to offer drinks and anything we need. Music on boat was really great to make us dance and enjoy the day. I recommend Vartis and his company for small weddings, corporate events and just enjoyable sailing day in amazing Aegean sea.
