Athenian Yachts - Athens Charter Base

We chartered a Bali Catspace 40 feet from Athenian Yachts in September, and it was the perfect choice for our group of nine family members and partners. The yacht was spacious, comfortable, and ideally suited for a large family. We sailed it ourselves without a paid skipper, and from the very beginning the check in and handover process was smooth and professional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we understood the layout and operation of the boat. Aside from a few minor issues noted on the day of pickup, the yacht was in excellent condition throughout the trip, and we had an amazing time onboard. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Athenian Yachts to anyone considering a charter in Greece. We will definitely be glad to sail with them again in the future!

We had an amazing experience with Athenian Yachts in Alimos, chartering a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 (bareboat) in May 2025. The sailing yacht was in perfect condition – even small things like winch handles were proactively upgraded, and all lines on board were brand new, which made sailing especially enjoyable. The check-in process with Costas was exceptional. He took the time to answer all our questions, and clearly cared about handing over the yacht in top condition, as if he would go out with the boat on his own. The App we used for a structures check-in with checklist and all manuals made it very easy and fast for us! The welcome package on board was a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home! The boat sailed beautifully, the dinghy was brand new, and overall it was a fantastic first charter experience for us. Even after reporting a minor damage caused by the anchor at the bow during the trip, the team was professional and understanding. It was handled fairly without affecting our deposit. We will definitely charter with Athenian Yachts again! Thanks to the whole team Valentine & Philip!

I rented a BALI for 2 weeks from Athenian Yachts. I am a professional skipper for Bluewater Breeze Co and work with multiple charter bases all over the world. Athenian Yachts gets 10/10. From check in to check out, I could tell that the staff genuinely cared about my guests' experience. The dock staff were friendly and went out of their way to bring a personality to the experience. The technicians were extremely knowledgable about the BALI Catspace that I chartered and gave the most thorough walk through that I've seen. Very good rental experience! They are flexible with check-in and check-out times. The boat was in excellent condition, with no unpleasant surprises. We even received a welcome gift box. I’ll definitely come back!

We just spent 5 idyllic days sailing in the Saronic Islands with a gorgeous Athenian Yacht - the Seanest. Everything was simply perfect! Check-in and check out was fast and smooth and the team was lovely. Special mega thanks to our amaaaazing Skipper Hugo Mary, the best skipper we could have. Absolutely charming, knowledgeable, safe, friendly - he made our trip better than we could have expected! & thanks to Voili Voilou as well, of course. ⚓️⛵️☀️🐬❤️

We expected our vacation in Greece to be memorable but we never anticipated our experience with Athenian Yachts to be this unique! The competent crew and the well preserved boats/ equipment made the week pass like a breeze. See you again next year!!!

My family booked a 7 day charter through this company. We had 6 people and we were on the Mary Grace II. When we arrived to Alimos Marina from Athens, we found the Athenian Yachts office very easily and they were very professional. They sat down with us to go over some details of the trip, boat, and other things before we took off to the boat. They spoke good English and helped us through the check in process. Then Teo gave us a ride to the end of the pier to where our boat was. We met Nansy (our skipper) on the boat and she was all ready to go! Shortly after (15-20 mins) our provision arrived. We left the dock about 45 minutes from when we first got on the yacht. Being from America and a family, we could not emphasize how great our skipper Nansy was. She had a great attitude throughout the entire trip, fun, young and exciting! She helped us with everything, was able to fix any boat issues along the way, and charismatic to us as well. It was an excellent trip all and all. 11/10
