Our kids had the wedding of their dreams this past summer on Crete because of Crete Within Weddings' hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to our desire for an authentic experience for all. Our wedding weekend was the stuff that story books and movies are made of. Sveta and her team's attention to detail made every event special, unique, and very memorable. Her recommendations of local venues and service providers gave every event the authenticity we'd hoped and dreamed of. When the weekend arrived everything fell into place effortlessly, as Sveta and her team planned it down to the smallest detail. As a result there was an overwhelming feeling of love, joy, and Cretan "Kefi" that was felt by all. We cannot recommend Crete Within Weddings enough, they exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only were they highly communicative (since we are located in the US), they also worked tirelessly to work within our budget to capture the vibe we wanted for all our events. Our daughter's wedding was "pure magic" thanks to Sveta and her team!!

The best decision we made for our wedding (other than saying I Do!) was asking Sveta to be our planner. We are forever grateful to her for creating the most magical wedding for us! We had our destination wedding on Crete, sight unseen. Sveta is a total professional; she was organized in keeping us on track with deadlines and patient when plans shifted. She is a very good communicator who gives wise advice that balances the couple’s vision with practical considerations. Her vendor recommendations were spot on and we were so pleased across the board with our team. We had tricky weather on the day of the wedding with rain, wind, and Sahara dust. Sveta and her coordinators worked their magic and managed to time our ceremony and photos for the exact window without rain, moved dinner inside without a hitch, and set up to party outside once the weather cleared. Needless to say, this required a lot of flexibility from the vendor team with guidance from Sveta. We were able to enjoy every minute because she had it so under control. It was a perfect day from start to finish! Most importantly, Sveta and her team are kind and fun. It was truly a pleasure working with Sveta, Daria, and Lana and we cannot recommend Crete Within Weddings highly enough!

For all those who want to celebrate their wedding in the midst of Crete’s breathtaking nature, Sveta is definitely your go-to-planner! She knows the island like the back of her hand and puts a lot of effort into finding the most unique place for your special day. Whether in an old olive grove or somewhere with a wonderful panoramic view, far away from mass tourism. I had the chance to work with Sveta on one of her wedding projects last year where I was responsible for the wedding styling and I couldn't be happier with our cooperation. Communication is easy and respectful. What I like most is that Sveta takes every wedding very seriously and provides her clients with individual concepts and valuable information. She has been in the wedding planning business for over a decade and is therefore an expert in this field. I am looking forward to working with her again!!

Last year Sveta organized for us the most intimate yet beautiful ceremony in beautiful Aravanes place. My husband's grandparents live in Greece and because we wanted to share this beautiful moment with them, we decided to make our wedding here. Sveta is the coolest! She is very careful and looking for a details person. We spoke like good friends and our communication was very easygoing - I could ask her any question without any doubts. It’s not very easy to handle a nervous bride such as myself (because I wanted everything to be perfect) but Sveta had a lot of patience. And I'm more than grateful!! She offered us different options and never pushed our decisions. On the day of the wedding, she and her team also manage all the things to be done at the right time. As a couple travelling from London to get married in Crete in October 2025, choosing the right wedding planner was one of the biggest decisions we had to make, and finding Crete Within Weddings was the best thing that could have happened to us. Shortly after, we arranged a Zoom call, and by January 2025, nine months before our wedding, we flew out to Crete to meet her in person. That trip confirmed everything. Every single detail reflected the brief we discussed from the very beginning. The organisation was impeccable, from the smooth guest transfers by minibus to the beautifully coordinated schedule of the day. It all flowed effortlessly. Sveta even hand delivered a thoughtful gift to us on the morning of the wedding, which meant so much. Our guests still tell us how breathtaking and magical the day was. We had an amazing wedding thanks to the help of Sveta, and her colleague Daria. We are from England and didn’t even visit Crete or our venue until we flew out for our destination wedding – that’s how smooth the process was, and how much trust we had, with Crete Within Weddings. If you’re planning a destination wedding in Crete I would highly recommend Sveta. She completely takes the stress away from planning a wedding and works to your pace and budget. Firstly, there was lots of communication throughout the whole process, my questions were always answered, no matter how small, and we even met on Zoom a couple times. There was no language barrier either, as Sevta speaks perfect English and has a great sense of humour too. Secondly, be clear with Sveta on what you want. We started planning our wedding around 18 months in advance (as this is usual in the UK) but Greece is far, far more relaxed than us – so don’t let the urgency of the UK planning put you off! If you want quotes and costs up front so you can be clear on a set budget from the start, ask for this. Or, if you want something specific on your day be clear on it is that you want. A lot of work goes into planning your wedding that you don’t see, but one thing Sveta is not is a mind reader! I think by being really clear on what your budget and expectations are allows for a much more seamless process. I was clear on what I was happy to spend on and what I wasn’t, and Sveta also provided lots of helpful guidance too. It’s hugely beneficial having an experienced planner that knows the area well. I did consider a UK based destination wedding company but I’m so glad I didn’t. Sveta dealt with all the vendors, even our signer who was flying from Portugal and needed equipment hiring. And for certain vendors like hair and makeup she sent me a list to choose from, including their insta handles – which was a huge help and saved time trawling Instagram or websites to find my own. When we arrived in Crete, we met Sveta at our venue to run through everything. Sveta sorted all vendor payments, so we only ever had to deal with her which again, just totally takes the stress out of it all and avoids a sea of emails, payments and juggling vendors. We had everything we asked for on the day, every question in the lead up to it was answered in a timely manner and the day was co-ordinated perfectly. Sveta was with me at the top of the aisle, and I actually didn’t speak to her again until later in the evening! They just slotted into the day seamlessly and everything was great, our guests loved it too. I'd highly recommend CWW if you’re planning a destination wedding in Crete.
