Mariangela and her team created a very memorable wedding for us and we are so thankful for their help. Planning a wedding abroad is never an easy task, but Mariangela made it a low stress and positive experience for us. We are based in California, but my wife is from Chania, Greece and we wanted someone who is based in Chania and would have the best knowledge of the area and wedding vendors. Mariangela exceeded our expectations. From our first videocall, we knew Mariangela would be the perfect wedding planner for us. She was cheerful, confident, and you can tell that she truly loves being a wedding planner and connecting with her couples. With Mariangela's help we were able to get all the vendors we wanted and remained within our budget. One of the things we talked about during our initial meeting was that she only works with vendors that have high ethical standards. Due to her professionalism and great relationships with the vendors, she consistently went above and beyond negotiating with vendors to secure better offerings and added value beyond their initial proposals. Reflecting back on our wedding day, we truly felt taken care of and had an excellent team of vendors all thanks to Mariangela and her team!

Mariangela is an incredible person and our day would not have been so magical without her and her team. From our first call I knew she had to be our planner. She wanted to get to know us and work with us for our special day. Every suggest/option she would give us would be aligned with what we were wanting it was like she could read our minds! I had a lot of friends getting married this year and they seemed so full of stress. They asked me how I was so calm planning a wedding in another country and I would always reply "I have a fairy godmother looking out for me and planning my special day" and it really felt like that! Where do I even begin…Mariangela and the team planned the most magical wedding that we could ever have wished for. As soon as we met we knew we had made the right choice, she spent time to understand our vision and carefully curated a list of venues and then vendors that would bring our vision to life. The team went above and beyond to ensure that we could have everything we wanted within reason and to take care of us before and during the wedding day! Mariangela even wore a cute lemon dress to match our wedding day decor! From the ceremony to the party the whole day was like a fairytale and we will forever be grateful. Our guests kept saying they felt like they were in a movie and it was absolutely magical. We have Mariangela to thank for the most magical and perfect wedding near Chania, Crete in July 2022. Every step of the way we felt our special day was safe in her hands. Due to Covid there were inevitable hurdles along the way, but she handled all calmly and professionally. Mariangela has a passion for her work and her attention to detail is amazing! She has a wonderful team of professionals working along side her including, photographers, hair and make-up, florists, DJ's plus a large portfolio of contacts and perfect wedding venues to choose from. We really enjoyed planning our wedding with Mariangela, she made it fun and allowed us to be as creative as we wanted to be. I am so grateful to her for making our vision come alive. Sixty of our friends flew from UK to Crete for the wedding and said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Thank you Mariangela!

Mariangela and her team did an incredible job with planning and organising our wedding. What makes her unique is her amazing personality, professionalism and attention to details. She organised catering trials, cocktail tasting, hair & make up trials and she introduced us to many vendors before the wedding which was so nice and reassuring. She was able to assist our wedding guests throughout the day and night and made everyone feel welcome, everyone loved her! By the end she was not only our wedding planner but also a friend. She and her team deserves all the credit.

Mariangela is the fairy god mother every bride deserves on her wedding day. Organized, creative, outspoken, professional, with an eye for detail, prepared for anything, she really listened to our wishes and ideas from day one, and contributed to create the party of our dreams. Throughout the two years that we were preparing our day, she helped us navigate every decision calmly, from the other side of the world, even when we had to postpone and change vendors due to covid. She is well connected with a variety of trusted vendors:caterers, photographers, florists, DJs, hair and make-up artists, lighting designers and various wonderful venues, from which she helped us choose the best for our needs and budget. On the day itself, I felt she was the bridesmaid I never had. There, to help with the set up, there to support us emotionally, and there to make sure everything and everyone was at the right place at the right time. I could not have asked for more.

We honestly can’t thank Mariangela and Natalia enough for all their help in making our wedding the best day of our lives. Everything little thing we asked for was done, every little detail was considered, and the whole day ran smoothly, and was just perfect. We have had so many guests comment that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that they have never been to a wedding like it, and I think that just sums up how much My Planner Crete know what they are doing, and how good they are at this. Admittedly, I was a type A Bride and stressed about every single thing. When in-fact I had absolutely no reason to stress whatsoever. Mariangela even took the time to come and see us before the ceremony to reassure us that everything was ready to go and would run smoothly - this meant so much to us. We loved the online tool where we could see which stage we were at with planning and when we had to book each vendor and the vendor suggestions and quotes. This was very helpful for us as in the UK vendors usually have to be booked 2/3 years in advance whereas in Crete they are closer to the date. Putting our trust in My Planner Crete was the best thing we’ve ever done. From vendors to makeup artists, Mariangela knows her stuff and all of those who helped on our day were just absolutely fantastic! Even on the day before the wedding when Mariangela let us know that we couldn’t have fireworks because of the weather, she had already sorted a perfect solution. On the day of the ceremony, everything was so chilled. We did have approximate timelines beforehand for when things would be e.g., food, first dance, cake cutting etc but this was all very smooth and relaxed and we didn’t feel like we were being rushed if we were dancing or in a conversation, or had to be in this place at this specific time etc. I wholeheartedly think we made the best decision booking My Planner Crete and would recommend them to anyone that is thinking of booking.
